Rainy Day Fun
It’s been quite cold here in Nebraska. The sun has been mostly in hiding since Thursday. On Saturday, the boys played their soccer games in 40 degree weather. The last three days have been rainy. I’m kind-of tired of it. I want to plant my garden and my boys need to play outside (we’ve been having too much fighting lately). Right now they are shooting erasers at each other with rubber bands. They all seem to be having a good time. It seems pretty harmless.
Earlier today I was in JCPennys shopping for some Sunday pants for Brigham (his current pair are total “high waters”). While there, Brigham spotted the “alligator” (aka the escalator). He was jumping up and down in excitement as he asked me if we could ride it. So, I parked the stroller and got Aaron out. Aaron was a little hesitant as we stepped onto the “alligator,” but he quickly realized what fun it is to ride on an “alligator.” A big smile spread over his face. Both Brigham and Aaron giggled the entire way down. I couldn’t help but smile myself. “That was sooo fun!” Brigham proclaimed as we walked to the other side to go up. “Can we do it again?” And so we did and Brigham & Aaron giggled again.
