The highlight of his birthday was being able to go to school on his actual birthday (he was so relieved that his birthday wasn’t on the weekend). Brigham, Aaron and I went to school to have lunch with him. Then, we stayed to watch him present his “Star of the Week” poster that he had thoughtfully filled out and carefully colored over the weekend (he is such a diligent boy). He shared cupcakes with his classmates and they all signed a birthday crown his teacher made for him (he wore it the rest of the day and a month later still has it sitting on his head board).
He had hot lunch (a corn dog) on his special day.
