My Brig-a-bug

Brigham's birthday was two months ago (and I swear he's grown an entire inch since then). He turned four. His birthday was on a Sunday, so we did a little celebrating on Saturday afternoon. We went swimming and had a movie night. Uncle Daniel brought the cousins to join us at the swimming pool. Of course, that made Brigham's day since Logan is Brigham's best buddy. Aunt Shanelle also came, and this "made the day" for Daniel and I since she played with the kids most of the time (she's a great aunt).

That night we watched, Curious George, The Movie. It was an early b-day present. My boys love that show and so do I. I had some laundry to fold; so, I used it as my excuse to sit down and enjoy the show with them. My favorite part was watching my boys as they watched it. They each had a permanent grin on their faces and were constantly laughing. Actually, Brigham was giggling. He has the best giggle ever and nothing brings it out more than Curious George. It was so enjoyable, that is until we got the "bad part," as Brigham calls it (you know, the part when the man-in-the-yellow-hat has the animal catchers capture George and send him back to the jungle). It was so upsetting to Brigham. He shed many heart-felt tears (so cute). Thankfully there was a very happy ending.

Still, that "bad part" has cause him so much grief that last time he watched the movie (and he has yet to watch it without bawling), he told me we shouldn't watch it anymore. So, I think we will take a break from Curious George, The Movie for now.

On his actual birthday, we had cake and opened presents. Grandma & Grandpa, Aunt Shanelle, and Daniel & Heidi and their kiddos joined us.
