Thank You
Out of all our boys, Aaron has been the slowest talker. But, he is a good communicator. I usually know what he wants by his gestures and such. He definitely has plenty to say, it just isn't understandable for the most part. His vocabulary includes "mama" (he calls Shane Mama too - he's our first to learn to say "mama" before "dada"), "ball," "hutt, hutt," "touch-down" (which is understood more because of inflection rather than articulation). He counts, "one, two, one, two." But, my favorite thing he says is "thank-you." Neither Shane nor I really worked with him to help him learn to say it. He just started saying it one day. The sweetest thing is he completely understands what is it means and uses it often without being prompted or encouraged to. My favorite is when I bring him his food, he'll look at it, then look and me and say, "tank-too." I love it. It melts my heart every time.

Aaron loves his oatmeal.
Good thing, since he gets a big bowl of it every morning!

Really, Aaron just loves food.

Aaron already loves the outdoors. There was one day when I brought him inside with me when it was time to make dinner. I let the older boys keep playing with the neighbor children in the backyard. When Aaron realized we weren't going back outside, he threw a fit. he wouldn't let me take off his coat and he was grumpy the rest of the evening.
