My Flowering-Pear Tree
Joy School was at my house on April 1st. We went on a walk around the block looking for signs of spring. The children and I spotted a few flowers and some birds. We noticed that the grass was just starting to turn green and the trees that looked dead were actually covered with buds. . . .
And now Spring has sprung! Today I was marveling at the transformation that has taken place in only 20 days. Daffodils and tulips are in full bloom. The earth is covered in green grass (that is all but our yard - much to Shane's dismay). And the trees are bursting with blossoms and new leaves. It is miraculous!

I love spring! The boys have been loving seeing so many "popcorn trees" as they call them. Your tree looks great, Keresa! What a thing it is to watch the world come alive.
