Brigham loves light sabers and Star Wars almost as much as his older brothers. During one round of an intense Star Wars battle, Brigham and his cousin Logan recruited me to help them attack Joshua and Regan. Seriously, they handed me a spare light saber and we were off. After we ambushed the two renegades, Brigham informed me he had to go upstairs to get the force. Curious, I followed him upstairs. I wanted a peek inside his little three-year-old head. What did he understand the force to be? Rummaging through some toys, he pulled out a little piece of his star wars ship. And Walla! He had the "force" - amazing. What a funny boy.

Brigham - 2009 thus far. . .

Brigham is our busy three-year-old. His "biggie" of the year so far is becoming potty trained. After several introductions, initiated by his extremely hopeful mother, he finally decided he wanted to wear those "Thomas the trains" (underwear) and step into the world of a "big boy." Once he made up his mind, he did a great job. Of course, accidents and potty training are inseparable terms. The other day I had a good laugh as I watched this sweet boy come into my room. He was dressed like a cowboy. His boots were a couple sized too big and his hat would have been too large for me. He sauntered into the bathroom, dropped his britches, and hoisted himself onto the "potty chair." From my view, all I could see was his dangling boot-clad feet. Then a "fountain" appeared. All the while, I sat on my bed, feeding Aaron. At the moment, the only thing to do was smile, inwardly giggle at my bewildered little boy, and feel blessed to witness such a scene. Shocked, he informed me he had had an accident. Indeed he had.
