My Little Carnivore . . . . . .
As many of you know, Aaron has quite the diet. He is allergic to milk & eggs, wheat, corn, barley, rye, flaxseed, and nuts. Which means, any kind of processed food is out and eating what the family eats is not an option. So, what does he eat? The answer: rice, oatmeal, muffins & pancakes (made from my own specially-engineered-for-Aaron recipes), fruits, veggies, and meat. The poor boy doesn't get a lot of variety. Oatmeal & fruit for breakfast, muffins & pancakes for snacks, and rice, somekind of meat, & a veggie for lunch and dinner. I often worry that his isn't getting the nutrition he needs. I give him his vitamins religiously and add a tsp. of olive oil to just about everything he eats. Thankfully he
loves meat (gotta get that protien). We often joke that he is a carnivore. The other day I was at the grocery store with the boys, we stopped at the bakery to get a free cookie. The lady asked if Aaron wanted one. I said, "No thank-you. He has allergies." She asked what he was allergic to and exaggerating I responded, "everything." That's when Jacob pipped in, "Yea, he's a carnivore."
Rice 2x's a day = 2 BIG messes

I love his blonde hair and his big brown eyes in that last picture - reminds me of another cute boy I know... =) I don't think you were exaggerating much when you told the bakery lady he's allergic to everything, that poor boy!
